An industry veteran with over 30 years of experience leading advertising sales and technology development, David Solomon has been Viamedia’s Chief Executive Officer since 2020.
Joining Viamedia in 2003 as a corporate vice president, David quickly became a vital leader, rising to executive vice president in 2006, CRO in 2016 prior to his promotion to CEO. David’s innovative leadership has been pivotal to keeping Viamedia at the forefront of the fast-changing advertising industry, ensuring the company and its customers capitalize on emerging trends, opportunities and technologies.
David’s tenure at Viamedia is distinguished by substantial growth, strategic advancements, and a steadfast dedication to business development, finance, and fostering a positive corporate culture. He played a significant role in scaling the company from fewer than a dozen employees to over 200 today.
Prior to joining Viamedia, Solomon amassed a wealth of experience in advertising sales, spanning over twenty years. His career journey took him from Telecable in Lexington, Kentucky, to significant roles in sales management at TCI, AT&T cable advertising, and Comcast Spotlight advertising.
Solomon has been honored as a 2023 Cablefax 100. He is revered for his effective coaching and proven ability to build high-performing sales teams and foster a culture of growth and mentorship.
Recognized as a thought leader, Solomon contributes to key publications like MediaVillage, ACA Connects‘ Independent Communications News, and AiThority. He also regularly engages in prominent industry events, where he is featured on panels and as an expert at the forefront of innovative advertising strategies.
Solomon holds a Bachelor of Arts in Industrial and Organizational Psychology, from the University of Kentucky. Among numerous civic and charitable associations, Solomon is active in fundraising on behalf of Sunrise Children’s Services, which assists abused, abandoned or neglected children.

Evan Rutchik is the President and Chief Strategy Officer of Viamedia, where he leads strategic innovation and business transformation across one of the nation’s largest independent local advertising companies. A proven media executive, Evan is driving Viamedia’s evolution into a data-driven, AI-enabled, omnichannel powerhouse—leveraging artificial intelligence to unify linear TV, CTV, and digital to deliver precision targeting, predictive insights, and measurable outcomes for advertisers and partners at scale.
Evan is also the founder of LocalFactor, a media technology company that pioneered privacy-safe, cookieless advertising built on real-world signals and identity resolution. Following its acquisition by Viamedia, Evan has played a pivotal role in integrating LocalFactor’s proprietary tech into the ViaFactor platform, enabling advertisers to reach real people—not proxies—with unprecedented geographic and behavioral precision.
Over the course of his career, Evan has held senior roles at digital media leaders across both the technology and agency sides of the advertising business. He is a serial entrepreneur who has launched, scaled, or invested in multiple companies—several of which have surpassed $100MM in revenue directly due to his leadership and strategic execution.
A recognized thought leader in mobile marketing, first-party data, and consumer privacy, Evan has served on the Board of the IAB Mobile Center of Excellence and frequently moderates and speaks on global panels. His insights have shaped how the industry approaches personalization, identity, and privacy in a post-cookie world.
Evan holds dual degrees in Management and Advertising from Syracuse University, and earned his MBA from NYU’s Stern School of Business. He is passionate about building innovative, ethical solutions that deliver real impact for advertisers, agencies, and communities globally.
Robert Benoit
Chief Financial Officer
Robert brings over 30 years of strategic financial leadership to growth-oriented technology and SaaS companies.
Robert brings over 30 years of strategic financial leadership to growth-oriented technology and SaaS companies. Recently, as CFO of Rev.io for nearly five years, he played a pivotal role in driving shareholder value, leveraging his extensive expertise in operations, accounting, finance, and HR. His career includes significant financial leadership roles at six SaaS and technology companies, including Ventureforth, Inxpo, and Fruition Partners, as well as established corporations like CCC Information Services, Landauer Inc., ConAgra Foods, and M&M Mars. Robert holds an MS in Accounting, a top-tier MBA, and a BS in Mechanical Engineering. He lives just outside Atlanta, Georgia with his wife and son.

Becky Jones
Chief Marketing & People Officer
Becky Jones is a respected twenty year cable television advertising veteran.
She began her career in research at TCI at the point it was being acquired by AT&T. After leaving AT&T Media Services she played a key role in the strategy and development of Viamedia’s sales support infrastructure that today supports the organization.
Becky’s has been at the highest levels of the company’s corporate leadership team for nearly two decades. Her primary oversight is corporate communications, training, company culture, marketing, branding, research and creative services. Her teams assists the sales efforts across the company with marketing & research tools to support local advertising sales utilizing Viamedia’s extensive research catalog. Becky also oversees Viamedia’s social media platforms and overall marketing / public relations efforts for the company.
In September 2016, she added the oversight of the company’s training, mentoring, coaching, and development among her other responsibilities. She has been the face of the organization at trade and industry events for over a decade and is known throughout the industry and across the United States for her personality, attention to detail and leadership abilities.
Becky has received numerous national awards and has been nationally recognized for her impact within the cable industry. She has received honors as industry’s “Cable Marketer of the Year” and has been named as one of the “Most Powerful Women in Cable” every year since 2013.
Becky has two sons, Silas & Sawyer and lives in Lexington, Kentucky.
Rick Tarvin
Chief Revenue Officer
As Chief Revenue Officer, Rick is responsible for driving overall revenue growth across Viamedia’s expanding portfolio of advertising solutions.
Rick began his advertising sales career in 1993 as a Regional Sales Manager for Trader Publishing Company, where he developed and implemented strategies for advertising sales in the Automotive and Truck industries. In 2001, he entered the cable advertising sales business as Local Sales Manager with AT&T Media Services, which, through mergers, became Insight Media in Covington, KY.
In 2006, Rick joined Viamedia as Corporate Manager of Automotive and Business Development, where he directed sales strategies for automotive advertisers and oversaw the launch of new media products including internet and long-form advertising channels. He was promoted in 2016 to Executive Vice President of Sales, taking on responsibility for all local sales efforts nationwide and leading the company’s regional sales teams.
Today, as Chief Revenue Officer, Rick is responsible for driving overall revenue growth across Viamedia’s expanding portfolio of advertising solutions. He oversees sales strategy, client partnerships, and revenue operations, ensuring that Viamedia continues to deliver innovative advertising opportunities that connect brands with audiences in more than 77 markets across the country.
Kristen McDonnell

Kristen McDonnell is an advertising professional with 20 years’ experience working across brands and agencies.
Advertising professional with 20 years’ experience working with brands and agencies, cross-vertically. Highly proficient in operations & client services, data-driven analytics, strategic account based up-selling & omni channel campaign activation, spanning across the digital, programmatic & linear landscape. Under her tenure, her Customer Success team received the award for #1 in Customer Service across all Digital Ad Networks (MediaPost, 2014).

Joel Hall leads product strategy, innovation, and cross-functional alignment across engineering, design, and data teams.
Joel Hall is the Chief Product Officer at Viamedia, where he leads product strategy, innovation, and cross-functional alignment across engineering, design, and data teams. With over two decades of experience in high-tech and media, Joel has built and scaled product organizations from seed-stage startups to public companies, hiring and mentoring dozens of product managers along the way.
He’s known for bringing structure, clarity, and momentum to growing teams — defining product vision, driving execution, and ensuring every decision connects back to measurable customer and business value. A seasoned executive and trusted advisor, Joel regularly partners with founders and leadership teams to accelerate product maturity and build organizations that scale.
Wendell Decker
Chief Technology Officer
As Chief Technology Officer, Wendell leads the company’s technology vision and strategy, overseeing tech engineering and product innovation.
Wendell is a 20+ year veteran of the cable television advertising industry, with deep expertise in technical operations and dynamic advertising solutions. He began his career in 1999 with Frontier Vision as an Insertion Engineer for its central Kentucky region. Over the following years, he held technical roles with Adelphia, Comcast, AT&T, and Insight Communications before joining Viamedia in 2005.
Since then, Wendell has played a critical role in Viamedia’s growth and success, helping to shape and scale the company’s world-class technical operations. His leadership has guided the development and deployment of advanced advertising technologies, enabling Viamedia to deliver innovative, data-driven solutions for advertisers nationwide.
As Chief Technology Officer, Wendell leads the company’s technology vision and strategy, overseeing engineering, operations, and product innovation. He is responsible for driving advancements in advertising platforms, data integration, and technical infrastructure to ensure Viamedia continues to meet the evolving needs of clients and partners.
